Background
Eleni Evangel is a Councillor of the City of Perth and a well known member of the Hellenic Community of W.A.
She was first elected to the City of Perth in 2005 and re elected in 2009. She Chairs the Marketing committee and is a member of the Council’s Planning committee. Additionally her passion for the City extends to Northbridge where she is involved with many of the local groups and issues.
Her Academic and Professional background is in Education and Media.
She has been working as a Presenter, Scriptwriter and Producer for community and commercial television for over 15 years.
Eleni has presented and produced for many lifestyle programmes for MRGTV and channel 9 over the years and through her media company, Alpha to Omega Media, has recently with Russell Goodrick, co produced the international documentary, ‘’Mikis Theodorakis: the Man the Genius, the Legend’. The documentary has been screened across Australia and recently in Athens.
Eleni enjoys travel, music, reading and quiet downtime with her family, and has recently indulged in a new interest… …belly dancing!
